We are now back in Sydney! The flight wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. We were told that we didn't get a bassinets for Dyllan- meaning that she would actually have to sit on our lap of the entire flight(s). Luckily we were told wrong- and not only did we end up getting a bassinet seat- we got the two seats next to us too (there were no other infants on the flight)- bonus. Although Dyllan won't stay still in the bassinet it self- she did sit pretty still and kept busy in her own seat. She even slept about 6 hours (thanks to the Phenergan we gave her to knock her out a little). Our flight went: Seattle to San Francisco- San Francisco to Auckland- Auckland to Sydney. The San Francisco airport was WAY easier than LAX- so the layover was much better (you didn't have to go out of the airport to transfer from domestic to international like you do in LA- so you don't have to go through security again)- so note to self.. going through San Francisco is much better than LA if there is a choice.
Since we landed- we have been super busy! Thursday morning we arrived- we were greeted by Dan's parents at the airport. We headed back to their house for a snack and to get re-situated before going to our new place.
We are now living with one of Dan's co-worker- David and his wife Anna- and their two kids Isabel and Frances (Frankie)- until we find a place to rent. We are so lucky- not only are David and Anna the nicest, most hospital, generous people- they are fun and so like us too! We are really enjoying our time here- and so is Dyllan! Dyllan LOVES the girls- and they love her too. Dyllan is growing up so fast being here with them. She thinks she's just one of the girls now. Its so cute.
Yesterday- Sunday- Nat and Anthony invited us over for brunch. It was so nice to catch up with them.
All in all- we are settling back in well. Looking forward to this next chapter of our lives.. new house- new neighborhood- new friends.

| Dyllan made a friend at the San Francisco airport- Logan. He was a little bit too cool for Dyllan- but she still enjoyed chasing him around. |
