That afternoon we headed out on the boat to pick up Bill's crab traps- so we could make "crap" for dinner- one of Bill's specialties!
The weather was perfect- and as always- we had the best, most relaxing, enjoyable time with Bill and Elaine ( and Frida and Mylo). It was so reassuring to see Mylo so happy and healthy and in a good home. We were sad to have to say goodbye- but we know that Mylo is happy- and would be much happier with them than going through a 14+ hour flight in a cage- then 60 days of quarantine- only to live in a small unit with Dyllan pulling her tail and ears all day long... not to mention not getting any toppers on her dinner- or having cyote to bark at in the winter months, and canadian geese to chase in the summer months. Mylo is one lucky dog to have gotten adopted by such a great family. We couldn't think of a better home for her if we tried!
Elaine had a little birthday celebration (with 2 different cakes!) for me!
Dan and Mylo just relaxing in the sun
Dyllan playing "rocks"- where she takes the rocks and splashes them one by one into the bucket of water
