Summer Days in Seattle

We have been so busy having fun- that I have hardly had time to go on the computer!  Summer in Seattle is one of the best.  Although it doesnt usually last long- and the weather can be kind of unpredictable- when its nice- its one of the best place (in the world!) to be in the summer time.  The air is clean, the water is cool, but refreshing, the green is outa control (grass, trees, plants.. green everywhere!)- and everyone is in summer mode.  The boats are out- the BBQ's are fired, the eagles are fishing, the Seahawks are practicing directly across the lake (and Sean he can even watch the Sea Gals practice from the Casita every thursday night with his telescope!).  Some of my favorite Seattle Summer things are..

Family Time- and lots of it

Long days

Ivars Fish and Chips

Tubing and Wake Boarding
Running through Pionier Park
Dates with friends and Starbucks
BBQing and Dinner parties
Weddings
Hearing the Eagles sqack from their nest
Watching the water traffic- kayakers, boaters and swimmers go by
Impromptu visits from friends
Happy hours outside in the sun
Camping.  Anywhere.
Concerts at The Gorge
Floating on Rafts
Friends unexpectedly and expectedly pulling up to the dock to say hi
Baby ducks swimming outside the window
Watching the garden beds grow- its so nice having all the fresh herbs, lettuce, tomato, peppers, even blueberries at our doorstep
Making HUGE family style dinners- and fresh salads
Bonfires with smoores
Hot tubbing after being out in the lake all day
Waking up early with the sun- and the gorgeous summer sunrises (and sunsets on the w. side)
