Bateman's Bay

2 Weekends ago- Laurie & Marianne, Brenden & Libby and our family headed 4 hours south along the coast to a little fishing town called Batemans Bay to watch Dan compete in the Ultra Triathalon.  Dan did great- although unfortunately didn't finish the race due to both of his glutes cramping up half way through the bike portion- and we all had a great weekend cheering, cooking, and checking out all the sights.  It was a beautiful drive- the kids were both great (Ellie was sick for most of the trip- but was such a trouper).  It was fun to get away for the weekend- we'll definitly be back next year!

Yunny organized a cook off- we all drew names and as couples had to make either a entree, main or desert.  Libby and Brenden had entre-they made a great fish dish- Yunny and Lozzo had main- and made a meat with salad and pasta- Dan and I drew desert- we made Banana Splits
