Monday Dyllan and I met up with a girlfriend- Rocky and the 17 month old little girl, Lila- she nanny's for. It was a scorcher- so we decided to take the girls to Balmoral beach. Balmoral is a ritzy area- with a great beach- and apparently littered with "yummy mummy's" on the weekdays- mom's with perfect bikini bodies, spray tans, designer diaper bags, and diamond rings the size of a golf balls.
We had a fun day at the beach- the girls loved the playground- which was convenient- because not only did I forget my own swim suit bottom- I also forgot Dyllan's swim diaper! oops. We did end up taking them for a dip at the end because it was just too hot- and we all needed to cool off. You can see her soppy soggy diaper in most of the pictures swimming- haha. I also forgot a snack- so Dyllan was stuck with stale banana chips that were left in her bag and water. Blah. Oh well- at least I remembered the hat and sunscreen!
