We got super lucky with our neighbors.. There are kids and families surrounding us. Today I organized a teddy bear picnic with a few of the neighbor moms- the one on our left that just moved in is also pregnant, due a week before me and has a little girl (18 months), the one behind us who is also pregnant and has a little girl a few months older than Ellie, and the one kiddy corner who has two kids (3 and 1). Unfortunately all my grand ideas of having a fun picnic in our yard went out the door when it decided to rain.. So we had to make do inside. The kids had a great time and it was the first time all us moms got to actually sit down and chat (not over the fence or in a rush). Its so nice to have great neighbors.. That are actually similar to us, same age and doing the same things.
