The big three- one

What a great birthday! 31 feels fully in the 30's now. Being 30 still felt like late twenties.. My 30's are going to be good, I can just tell.

Yesterday morning I woke up at 5am to a gorgeous sunrise from high up in our Jetsons house. And what better way to wake up, than to breakfast in bed. Dan and Dyllan (Ellie trailing behind) came in to greet me with red velvet cake singing happy birthday.

We snarfed down the cake and headed out for a walk along the river to South Bank- a cool area with funky coffee shops and cafes and a big man made beach.

Dan had the whole day planned out for me. It included a massage, a nail appointment, shopping and dinner at an authentic Japanese restaurant on the river. I was in heaven.
