Sunday we headed to the Sydney Olympic Aquatic Center to get out of the rain and take the kids swimming. Dyllan was so excited she could hardly stand it. It was Ellie's first time swimming- and she absolutely loved it. She hung out, splashing around with Dan for close to an hour- while I gave Dyllan a little swim lesson. Dyllan is becoming quite the swimmer- and although she would rather goof off than listen to me- she managed to learn a little bit.
Dyllan loved the slides- and her favorite part was the giant bucket (in the bottom right picture) - it fills up with water- then a bell rings and the bucket dumps water on everyone standing below! She thought it was great!
After the pool- we headed to a neighborhood we had never been to- Woolwich- for lunch at a cute waterfront cafe called Boat Dock. Dan and I sipped wine while we Dyllan provided live entertainment. We even got to see the start of a sailboat race.
On the way home- we stopped off at Ikea to get Ellie her first highchair. I think she likes it...
