Dan was so thoughtful and decided to surprise me after work on Saturday with the car all packed up ready to get away- something spontaneous and to soak up the sun- just what mom would have loved!
We drove up the coast 2 hours to Newcastle beach. Somewhere that mom and I spent time together. She had come to visit me while I was studying abroad in 2004.
What a great way to celebrate mom and her life. I miss her every day- but it's times like these that make me so thankful for having her in my life- she taught me how to live life to its fullest- and enjoy every moment.
