Dad and Tatyana have arrived! ...and we have been go go go since they landed. They arrived Monday morning- and we went straight to the beach. Tatyana was like a puppy who was about to go on a walk... she just couldnt wait! We barely put their bags down before she was in her swim suit and ready to go for a dip. The sun was out all day- which was lucky as its been pretty rainy here lately. We had a BBQ dinner in our back yard, and Dyllan was the live entertainment with her latest dance moves.
Yesterday we all got up early- and Dan took Dad and Tatyana down to Manly beach for an early morning swim. I was glad I didnt join them, because they saw 2 black tip sharks swim by below them!! SCARY! I guess it didnt phase them much because they were back in the ocean that afternoon. Marianne picked them up for lunch in Dee Why and another swim at the beach, and garden tour. Does Marianne know them too well or what?!
They only had an hour to rest/change/ and get ready for dinner. Dan and I got home from work around 5:30- and off we went.. down to Manly Wharf Bar for pizzas and wine. A nice early dinner that lingered for a few hours as we talked and watched the sun set.
Today- Dan and I are both working again.. and I Dad and Tatyana can hop off the busy train and relax.. for a whole day... that is until we get home... and off we'll go again! haha. We are loving having them here!!
