Happy 31st Dan

A little birthday surprise waiting for Dan when he got home from work Friday afternoon

Friday- November 4th- was Dan's 31st birthday!  I had the night ALL planned.  I dropped Misses Bug of at the Grandparents house- and met Dan at home around 5pm.  I had cupcakes and champagne to start off our night.  After a quick bite - we caught the bus into the city- where we had dinner at a nice restaurant called Rockpools (thanks to our friends Anthony and Meredith who gave us this gift voucher!)

We had a fun time at dinner- drinking wine and chatting about the two couples on either side of us- who were clearly both on first (awkward!) dates.  Dinner was fun- but we needed some action- so we headed over to The Star- casino to play some Mr. Cash Man.  Although we didn't win.. we didn't lose much either.  All in all - a great night!

Saturday morning we took advantage of not having the stroller- and climbed up Manly head.

Not a bad view from up here.  In the distance the beach to the left is Freshwater beach- where we used to live

Later that afternoon- we picked up Bug and some sushi and got ready for the beach.  We met Anthony and Natalie at Little Manly beach.
Dyllan... are you riding dog?
Yes.. Dyllan took dog and horse on a ride on big dog

Sunday- we had a family BBQ in our back yard- to celebrate Dan and Gaga's birthdays- note to self- 10 people is probably the very MAX our little place can comfortably fit.

Lionel and Brenden did a skit in honor of Dan's birthday- they had us all dying laughing!!
