Today Miss Bug went down the slide all by herself. For the first time- as far as I know. She has always loved the slide at the park- but usually wants someone to edge her down- and hold her hand. Today- she slid down the kiddy slide all by herself- then
ran over to the big slide and proceeded to go down all by herself! It was so funny to watch how her confidence grew instantly. As soon as she did the kiddy slide alone- she knew she could do the big one... and bolted straight for it before I could even figure out what was going on. Her confidence must have been on overdrive at the park today because she also climbed up and down the stairs (to the big kids slide) without holding on (crawling)!
And a side note: apparantly I have a really active kid.. 2 different parents said that she was very active. Well yes.. but i just figured every kid was like this. This girl Does. Not. Stop.
But maybe thats why she is such a great sleeper. As soon as she hits the pillow- she's out. Not a peep. Asleep for 12 hours (nights) or 2 hours (nap). But man... the wake hours are busy!
what great photos! she's SO happy - how cool to watch her grow like that. and yes, i think she def takes after her dad with the activity level. she'll probably be running marathons with you guys when she's in elementary school.
