Jen and Chris tie the knot

Last weekend Jen and Chris said "I Do"!  It was an amazing wedding weekend- up in the San Juan Islands.  The weather was perfect- the wedding and festivities were a blast- and best of all it was a chance to catch up with old friends and celebrate the wedding of one of my oldest friends- Jen!  I met Jen in kindergarten I would say.. we grew up swimming together- going to school together- and hanging out in most of our free time as kids.  We even went to College AND Australia together.  Its so great to see such a good friend marry her perfect partner.

Emily and I woke up at 3am to catch the 6:30 am ferry out of Anacortes to Friday Harbor.

Every night at sunset they have a little sunset ceremony- so we all retreated to the boat to watch the ceremony- then headed back to the wedding reception for more dancing and cake!

The next day we headed out on the boat for a cruise to see whales- but it turned into more of a party and less of a whale watching... didn't end up seeing any- but another boat saw a ton!  Dang. Oh well- worth the party.

The best part??  Jen and Chris haven't left for their honeymoon - so we get to hang out with them even more this summer!
