Whats for dinner?! Italian Rawzania

Have you ever heard of eating "raw"?  I cant remember how I stumbled across this book- but ever since I did- I have been obsessed with the recipes and the raw concept.  Although I rarely eat completely raw- the concept has stuck with me and I do my best to pick foods that are unprocessed, whole, or raw.  If these recipes weren't so time consuming and expensive to get all the fresh ingredients I would eat like this every day.  Dan and I both agree that when we eat a raw meal- we feel a noticeable difference the next day.  I would imagine that people who eat like this all the time feel awesome!

Anyway- I have tried quite a few recipes from this book- and every single one was amazing.  Even Dad and Sean gobbled the meal up (and we all know how much they love their meats.. can you imagine them eating not only vegetarian and vegan... but uncooked?!  I kid you not- they actually enjoyed it!)

In the past- Jessica, Emily and I have gotten together for wine and cooking- making the recipes in this book a little less intimidating when there are 3 of us- and one of us is a great chef (..Jessica).  I work best with ingredients I have actually heard of and pictures to follow.  One thing this book kind of lacks.. but oh well.

Anyway- the other night some girlfriends and I decided to have a movie night- and wanted to cook something out of my raw cookbook for dinner.  We decided to tackle the Rawzania.  There were 4 of us- and we spent a good hour putting this puppy together..but now that we've done it once- Im sure next time will be much faster. We all loved it- and it made enough for us each to bring some home.  The second day it actually tastes even better!
