Its been a crazy few days.. Thursday we arrived- Sean picked us up and we had thai take out with him and Lauren. Saturday was the much anticipated trip to one of my favorite stores- Costco with dad to stalk up for the party on Sunday. (side note: they opened a Costco in Sydney the DAY I left! Apparantly the lines were out the door and around the block! Can't wait to shop there when we get back!) then had my girlfriends over Saturday night. Sunday was the Summer Run and the after party/ Dad's birthday and Dyllans 1 1/2 birthday!
Jet lag has gotten the better of poor Dyll bug- and she has been running a fever for the last few days. Someone told me it takes 1 day of every hour of time difference.. so since Sydney is 18 hours ahead of Seattle it will take 18days?! Or maybe since its 7 hours behind (plus a day) it will only take 7 days!? Either way- we are not quite there yet. Poor little bug is trying her very hardest to have fun and get over it- but she keeps on feeling sick. And poor Tatyana was holding Dyllan while watching the Tour de France on Sat. night and Dyllan threw up all over her... she has only thrown up twice now- once on Tatyana- and the other time on Dan when we flew over to Sydney in January... must be the whole travel thing..
Sunday we had perfect weather- couldnt have asked for a better day to kick back and relax - with friends, tons of good food, and the lake around.
