I. Love. Dan.
Dan couldn't let Valentines Day go by without doing something special. I really wasn't expecting anything- as Dyllan goes to bed at 6:30pm still, and that usually leaves us zero time after work (if Dan even gets home before 6:30pm) to even do anything (outside the house). But in true Dan, the romantic, form- he surprised me and came home at 5:30pm with a pretty long stem red rose and a bag of sushi, a bottle of wine, and a babysitter (thanks Yunny and Lozzo!). We hopped on our bikes- he lead as I followed- and we headed for the hills. Up and down the (HUGE) hills as we wound around the waters edge.. dodging cars! I don't know what I was thinking, but I have to admit- I wasn't prepared for such a hard work out! I shoulda known..
Dan had a spot in mind. We peeled into a park, called McCarrs Creek (pronounced McKaw's Creek)- me completely winded and sweaty- and kept on riding.. right down to the end of this little jetty.
