Dada and Dancing Queen

Stop.  Rewind.  I can't believe I havent mentioned that Dyllan has spoken her FIRST word... Im racking my brain to remember the exact date.. and I cant pin point it- but I know it was a few weeks before we left on our road trip.. so I am gonna take a stab in the dark and say it was early to mid December.  Her first word was "Dada".  It was so cute, because she totally knew she was actually saying a word that we could understand.. she would say it over and over again, waiting for our excited reaction.  She was saying "Dada" the whole road trip to LA- and hasnt stopped since.  Unfortunately (for me), its still her only word... well only word that we can understand anyway.  I am getting a kick out of asking Dyllan- "Who do you want to change your dirty diaper this time, Dyllan?!" and her shouting out "Dada!"  Dan couldn't be more proud of her very first word.  She is a daddys girl, thats for sure.

Since "Dada" was her first word, I found it appropriate that this little ball of energy enjoys dancing almost as much as her Dada.  Dan once told me that while growing up he honestly believed that he was "born to dance" (those were his exact words).  At the time I thought it was hilarious..  but now I find it even funnier because Dyllan is proving to be following her dada's footsteps (litterally).
