Three Years and Counting...

Yesterday was Dan and my three year anniversary- from the first wedding!  Three years ago yesterday Dan's parents, who had flown in from Australia, my parents, and Sean all congregated in the church to watch Dan and I exchange vows.  We celebrated our official nuptials (I hate that word!)  by going out to dinner at McCormick and Schmicks with our families afterwards.  Then a week or so later- we had a bigger celebration with about 20 of our closest friends and family downtown Seattle at Cutters Bayhouse- where we had a private banquet room overlooking the Puget Sound- and great food and drinks.   Dinner was followed by a fun night out at the Last Supper Club- where we saw one of our all time favorite DJ's- Kaskade.

Although we consider July 5 our wedding day- we still like to celebrate both (*wink*).  This year, we didn't have any definite plans- but we knew the weather would be nice (ya never know in Seattle..) so finished work a little early- packed a picnic and loaded up the car- Dyllan and Mylo- and headed to Alki Beach.  Although we left our bottle opener for our wine and Mylo's leash and collar at home- we managed to have a pretty great time.  We couldn't have asked for a better evening at the beach (sounds crazy to say that- when I am talking about Seattle)- the weather was perfect- and the sunset was spectacular.
