Lifeguard

Mylo is our summertime lifeguard.  Its so funny, she will go flying down the dock looking frantically for something, anything to jump in and rescue.  Last night she saw a swimmer doing the universal sign for "save me"- he was in a green cap and moving his arms in a freestyle swim- motioning for Mylo to dive in and get him!  I hear dad yell at the top of his lungs "MYYYYLLLLOOO NOOOOOO!!!" so I came running out, and sure enough, Mylo had gone in after the same guy as yesterday!  He didnt realize she was the lifeguard on duty, and brushed her off and kept swimming.  Another day, Mylo plunged into the lake, dove down under water a few times, and came up with a Crawdad.  Hmm, wonder what she was thinking when she brought that guy to shore.

This is a day in the life of Mylo the lifeguard.  No mission too small, no stick too far.  We all get such a kick out of how important she thinks she is.  Mylo is always good for a belly laugh.  Thanks 'Lol.

Guarding the duck.

Mylo's new lifeguard had from Elaine.

Sometimes you have to be on duty out at sea.

Spotted.  Timmy is hurt!

Takes her job VERY seriously.
So proud.

"Someone is hurt!"  (I think its a piece of driftwood)

Checking for people (or sticks, or balls, or ripples) under the boat.

Doing the rounds.

On Guard.

Looking out from her watch stand.

Just made a rescue.

Daydreaming while on duty.

Just scanning the parameters.

A little help from her pal Delilah.

Telling Delilah how to guard.

Soaking up the sun.

Bored on duty- last nights shift was pretty intense.

Model.

Her watch stand.

Not amused.

Another sticky situation down below.  She will keep a close eye on things.

False Alarm.

  1. OMG! Thanks for the mid-day laugh in my cubical. LOVE the captions. I can totally hear you saying each of them and I love how you support Mylo's job as lifeguard. She's beautiful and has a nice tan AND its cool how she's avoided those pesky Speedo sportsbra lifeguard tan lines.
