"Yanny" and "Yazzo" are the names Dan's parents have chosen for Dyllan to call them. Yanny comes from the Duch derivative Yan Cha, or young one. Yazzo is a form of Loz, which is short for Laurence.
Yanny and Yazzo- and Lionel, Dan's youngest brother- came to visit us, and see Dyllan for the first time a few weeks ago. They arrived June 28 and stayed till July 14. We all had a blast with the Newton side in town. We had the calendar jam packed for two solid weeks, and had an absolute blast! We did the Duck tour, went to Experience Music Project (EMP), went sailing on my uncle Robin and aunt Karen's boat, did plenty of wake boarding and surfing, walked up to Starbucks daily, went for a plane ride in my uncle Tod's plane, visited snoqualmie falls, kayaked in the back yard, went wine tasting, visited my Aunt Elaine and Uncle Bill up in Blaine, Dan and Lionel even found time (and energy) to climb Mt. Rainier and ski/snowboard down. All in all, it was a fun few weeks spent with great family. We cant wait to have the Newton's come visit again!
