Yesterday was moms 4th annual ovarian cancer summer run. It was a success! The weather was perfect, and everyone had a great time. The race started at 8am- and Team Sussex gathered together before the start to put teal ribbons in our hair, our hats on, and take a few pictures. There were 101 people on the team this year!! We had the second biggest team at the event. Every year our good friend, Jim Carden takes great photos of our team before, during and after the event. I will see if I can get some of his pictures to post..
Another tradition is our annual after party. This year we had a great turn out for the BBQ after party. Its amazing how many great friends mom has. Everyone had a good time- and the food was amazing!
