Sean & Courtney Are ENGAGED!

Congratulations to Sean and Courtney!  

Sean popped the question at midnight on his 29th birthday (August 19th).  I called him at 1am to wish him a happy birthday- and he told me he had just asked Courtney to marry him.  After the initial congratulations and excitement, I asked him why he chose to propose on his birthday.  His answer was sweet:  "Because I couldn't think of a better birthday present than her saying yes ".  My next question was "but its Monday?!"  and he said.. "Don't worry, I called her work and we have the day off"  Nice work Sean!  They spent the day by taking a ferry to Bainbridge Island for some lunch and champagne followed by dinner at Sean's favorite restaurant Red Robbin!  Sounds like a perfect day.  Welcome to the family Courtney!

Sean turns 29 today.  When I turned 29- I called it the year of being "twenty something".  The 20's are great years and I know Sean will kick off this last year with a bang!

America Trip: Hawaii

On our way back to Seattle- we stopped over in Hawaii for 2 days.  It was the best idea ever- as the 10 hour flight was a nightmare.

We went bar hopping and shopping- then it started to rain.  Dyllan hates the rain- so insisted on putting Ellie's blanket over her while we walked down the street in the rain.

Happy 8 months in America

Ellie turns 8 months today. Here is what she's been up to the last 2 days..

Made it to Hawaii!

We just arrived! Loonnng flight- to say the least.. That's another story. But now.. We are off for a swim!
