21.5 Weeks ITS A GIRL!!

Dyllan Grace is the name we picked! We are very excited its a girl. Of course, Dan wants ALL pink for her room! Ha, he said he would pick pink regardless of whether it was a boy or girl anyway though..

I just got back from my monthly doctor appt (Dan couldn't make this one- he is down in San Francisco getting a new passport so we can go back to Australia next month!). Everything is healthy- heart beat is good, weight gain is good, growth is good.. everything on track! So that's good news. I'm still waiting to feel her kick!

As you can see from the pictures, she is growing fast! The last ultrasound (about 2 weeks ago) they told us she was about a foot long! Just like a subway sandwich!

We picked out a paint color for the nursery over the weekend.. its a pink, "Candy Stripe", which is fitting because Dyllan's Candy bar is one of the best Candy shops I have ever seen! Anyway we are going to paint the top half of the wall Candy Stripe, and the bottom white. I will post pictures when we get it painted.. hopefully in the next few weeks..

18.5 weeks

Growing FAST, and feeling great! Been super busy nannying and working lately! Trying to save up some money these days. Took a few pictures the other day that I thought I should post. Not much new to report, and not much time to report either! Sorry! I will have big news to report in 1 week.. when we find out if the Fig is a boy or girl!! YAY! Cant wait, then the fun can begin.. decorating, buying little outfits, registering (yikes!)... so exciting!

17 weeks

Time is flying by! But then again, going kinda slow. We find out if the Fig is a boy or girl On Oct. 26th. Seems like so long from now! Dan thinks its a girl.. and I kinda do too... but who knows!

Feeling great still, phew! I spent last weekend (well 2 weekends ago now) in New York celebrating my birthday with Jenny and Tone. The Fig had a blast.. eating all kinds of good NYC foods.. pizza, pic nicks, Dylan's candy bar, chocolate dipped rice crispy treats! haha, only the finest for the little figlett!

Not much else new to report. Energy is back and the weather has been nice! In fact, its been perfect fall weather this week! The fall here (when the sun is out) is soo pretty! Might just have to make a trip up to Leavenworth for Octoberfest!

On one last thing.. I took a picture on my phone camera (cause I thought I lost my camera) and sent it to Teri (my publicist, ha) so I could post it on the blog. So this photo (and I will try to take one every few weeks.. for those of your curious!) is taken at about 15 weeks.

14 weeks

I think I was wrong, we are 14 weeks along now. (Due date: Mar 17, 2010).

I scanned some photos from the ultrasound. They are pretty cool. It was hard for the lady to get the Fig to sit still long enough for her to take its measurements, but she managed. I like the bottom right photo- its two legs, and an arm JUMPING off the screen! (Bummer you can't really see much!!)

13 Weeks

Wow, we are already 13 weeks along!  Out of the first trimester and on to bigger and better things.  We wanted to share stories, ideas, pics, and experiences with our closest friends and family!  We are so excited to have you along for the ride.

Last Thurs we had our second ultra sound.  We didn't know what to expect.  As the little Figglet came up on the screen we could see it bouncing and boinking around.. it couldn't sit still.  In fact, the lady who did the ultra sound told us that of the 38 years she had been doing this, that our baby was the "most active little peanut she could remember seeing".  Our appointment took a little longer than expected because it wouldn't hold still long enough for her to get the measurements.  Finally, after she got the measurements, she informed us that the Fig was a little older than they thought, and changed our due date to St. Patricks day- March 17th.

Today I feel like I am getting my energy back.  Good news!
