Grocery store grubs

Yep, my kids were THOSE kids at the grocery store yesterday... The ones who think it's soo funny to crawl on the filthy floor, and race in the opposite direction on all fours while I'm up in the grocery line...
Those kids who don't listen to their mom, who won't sit in the cart.. Who think everything is funny, and sneak stuff in the cart without me looking.

Ha, I didn't know Dyllan could even say "amphibian"..

It's one of those (hot!) days...

And no air conditioning ( well a little portable one..) for this family... Ice packs and fans.. And an electrician out next week! Lucky we have friends with pools.

Tallebudgera beach & Happy Birthday Gaga

Happy Birthday to Gaga down in Sydney! Cheers to one of the funniest and kind hearted people I know.

Here are a few photos from yesterday down at the beach. We met our friends down there for the day. It was a great beach for the kids to swim at. Dyllan especially liked going across the water to the other side "the island" to collect treasure (shells).

Coolum Beach

Today we headed up the coast (about an hour and a bit) to Coolum beach. Kids had so much fun boogie boarding and wading in the waves. Dan went surfing and I went swimming.
One of my favorite things about the beaches here in Australia is the surf clubs. We headed to the surf club to cool off in the air-conditioning and to eat fish and chips. The cafe overlooks the beach and it's super kid friendly. The kids play with the other kids while we can (kind of) relax and enjoy the view.
