DIY Indoor Garden

Those of you who know me well- know i love the thought of DIY projects- but dont have the knack or follow through to actually DO them. Today my inspiration was Teri and also my aunt Eileen when coming up with a fast inexpensive present for a friends birthday party this afternoon.

Dyllan and I headded down to the local hardware store to pick up a few supplies. Dyllan had fun digging the dirt and shoveling the plants into their jars. My friend just moved into a new house and as soon as these strawberries, mint and lettuce start to grow- she can transfer them into her outdoor garden. Such an easy, fun and unique present!

We picked up this LOVE Bug from daycare today.. Someone got into the lipstick?! .. Not sure.

Wild birds

Saw these guys on our walk this morning.. Aren't they pretty? I secretly wanted to catch one and put it in a cage and call it my pet... But they flew away when I extended my arm to "feed" them.

Great day for the zoo

Sunday we decided to go to the zoo ( trying to get the most out of our annual zoo pass!).

It was a great day to visit- seemed all the animals were super entertaining and active. Dyllan just LOVES animals.. All of them.
